As artists, we aim to live in a way in which we see the extraordinary hidden in the seemingly mundane. Then challenge ourselves to share what we see in a way that allows others a glimpse of this remarkable beauty. - Rick Rubin
A SUNDAY POEM:
So there I was,
standing in a city that I wasn't from,
writing in the midst of thousands of people,
surrounded by light.
From that day on,
I looked at the world with different eyes.
It was as if I had just woken up
from a deep slumber,
where my eyes were closed off
to beauty and inspiration.
As if I had forgotten to engage in play,
in exploration, in discovery—
following curiosity
and witnessing the flow of life,
the ebb and flood,
its constant movement; its constant change.
Much inspiration all around.
Sometimes it might feel
as if I have lost my way,
but never really.
The creative expression of infinity
reminding me:
To look up, to look around.
Moments of reassurance
where hope is almost lost,
like the dawn in the early morning hours.
Deep gratitude rising within.
A new light entered the chamber of my heart.
My soul whispering to me:
keep moving, you are right on track.
How good it feels to trust in my words,
to trust what’s flowing through.
Losing myself in time,
moment by moment pass by.
Sometimes fear knocks on my door…
What if I can’t find the right words?
What if I don’t know how to express myself?
Letting it pass and re-engaging in life.
I am an artist
wanting to create.
How does an artist live?
living life as poetry,
exploring going out there,
seeing the world through the eyes of the soul,
channeling emotions into art,
transforming moment into words.
Words,
a sweet nectar;
a balm for the soul.
Let them be a gift to the world.
a new beautiful album and tunes that I love and inspires me:
with love,
